A Look At How Karl Heideck Successfully Litigates Legal Cases

Karl HeideckThe word litigation refers to the process that two people go through who need to resolve a legal matter within the civil law system. Typically litigation gets started when one party contacts a lawyer over a legal matter, such as needing to evict a tenant. The lawyer can send the other party a demand letter which lets them know that the other party has contacted a lawyer, as well as spells out what they need to do in order to avoid a lawsuit.

If a case can’t be settled through negotiation over the demand letter, which is actually rarer than not, the case will be filed at a courthouse and proceed through the discovery process where both parties learn everything there is about the case. The case will be heard before a judge who will decide who wins the case and what the judgment will be.
