Let's Get Real.
Andrea McWilliams has been in Texas politics for years, and was appointed Chief of Staff at only 21 years of age. She has also been honored with the Profiles in Power award by the Texas Women’s Chamber of Commerce and was also a 2016 Texas Businesswoman of the Year finalist. McWilliams also received recognition by the Girl Scouts of Central Texas when the organization presented her with a Women of Distinction Award. This year, Andrea also received the Style Setter award from Austin Fashion Week.
Andrea McWilliams is also the cofounder of McWilliams, which is a public relations company that services political clients. She runs the company with her husband Dean, and since the pair are a Republican Democrat team, they are able to represent their clients with accuracy and fairness.
In addition to her political work, McWilliams is also a philanthropist, and volunteers regularly in her community to better the lives of others. She has been featured on the All Stars of the Austin American Statesman Fortune 500 list several times. She has served as a board member for a number of nonprofit organizations such as Arthouse, Rise Across Texas Challenge and HeartGift. Andrea is also one of the first members of the Long Center’s Notable Women and has been a long time member of the St. David’s Hospital Toast of the Town Committee.
McWilliams is a native of Austin, and was raised just a few miles from the Texas Capitol. She currently resides in Old Enfield with her husband and three children.
